22 Affirmations

By Kenneth Allan Clark.

Under this heading are a number of affirmations that have been given to me over the years and adjusted and revised from time to time. As such I can hardly take any credit for writing them.

Also you will find two passages of Scripture; Psalm 1:1 – 3 & Psalm 92:12 – 14; these I also use as affirmations.

Then there are three passages of Scripture. Psalm 119:97 – 104; was given to me by God through the Holy Spirit 25 years ago as a personal prophecy. Isaiah 42:1 – 9 was given to me by God through one of his prophets 25 years ago as a personal prophecy. And Isaiah 61:1 – 4 was given to me by God through the Holy Spirit 20 years ago as a personal prophecy.

Over the years I have shared these affirmations with many who have found by speaking them out aloud, with belief in their heart and soul, that they have been useful for the purposes of encouraging and strengthening one in the Lord, for overcoming the powers of darkness, and for bringing healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ.

It is my prayer and belief, by posting these affirmations on our web site, many others will likewise find them very useful.

May God bless all that read and use these affirmations to God’s glory in Jesus name.

Affirmation based on Isaiah 42.

Isaiah 42:1 I am the servant of the LORD, the Lord’s elect, whom the LORD upholds, and in whom his soul delights; He has put his Spirit upon me: I shall bring forth justice to the nations. 2 I shall not use loud and angry words, as one engaged in conflict, but my teaching shall be gentle, humble, and mild. 3 The fragile and the weak I will not break, nor will I disregard or quench the small and insignificant, but I will steadily and firmly set things right. 4 I shall not fail nor be discouraged, till I have set justice in the earth: the nations shall wait for my teachings.

5 Oh LORD God; you have created the sky, and stretched it out; you have spread forth the earth, and the offspring of it: you have given breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

6 Oh Lord God; you have called me in justice, and you will hold my hand, and you will keep me, you have given me to the people, as light to the nations; 7 To open the blind eyes,  to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

8 The LORD is your name: and your glory you will not give to another, neither your praise to graven images. 9 Look and see, the former things have come to pass, and new things you do declare: before they spring forth you tell of them to me.

Affirmation based on Isaiah 61.

Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the humble; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To preach the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn, 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of justice, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” 4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.

Affirmation based on Psalm 119.

Psalm 119:97 O how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. 98 You through your commandments I have been made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep your precepts. 101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. 102 I have not departed from your judgments: for you have taught me.  103 How sweet are your words unto my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!  104 Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
