15 Restoration Continues

THE RESTORATION CONTINUES. May 6th 2011.

Dear Reader,

Over the last few weeks the Lord has been speaking to me about a coming spiritual restoration and revival that will soon come upon the Church worldwide and the people of the world worldwide. This coming spiritual restoration and revival will be so great; it will make the restoration of the 16th century and the Pentecostal and Charismatic revivals of the 20th century pail into insignificants.

For more information on what the Lord has been speaking to me about, please read the following article.
From God’s servant Ken Clark.

THE RESTORATION CONTINUES.

It is not my purpose at this time to go into any lengthy discourse on the role and purpose of apostles and prophets in the Church, other than what it is necessary in order to pass on to others in the body of Christ that which I believe the Lord God has been speaking to me in recent days

One of the functions of the first century A.D. apostles and prophets of Jesus Christ was to lay down the foundations of the Church, the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:46 And why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man who built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

In Acts 2:40 – 43 it says of the early Church in Jerusalem, “they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship”. The apostles with the help of the prophets are responsible for establishing, maintaining, teaching and writing down church doctrine (teachings); the teachings of Christ, which had either come to them directly from Jesus Christ, or by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ tells us that His teachings are a sure foundation (Luke 6:46 – 49.)

The Church, according to Ephesians 2:19 - 20 is built on the foundation of the apostle and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself the chief cornerstone.

What are these foundational teachings that make up the foundation of the Church?

The Apostle Paul writes;

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal damnation. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.

This list can be divided up into six foundational doctrines, which were all laid down by the early apostles and prophets.

1: The doctrine of repentance from dead works.

2: The doctrine of faith towards God.

3: The doctrine of baptisms.

4: The doctrine of the laying on of hands.

5: The doctrine of the resurrection of the dead.

6: The doctrine of eternal damnation.

Many believe that because the early apostles and prophets have completed the work of laying down the foundational doctrines of the Church, the Church no longer has any need of apostles and prophets. But that belief overlooks the apostles and prophets functions of maintaining and teaching the foundational doctrines.

The Dark Ages were disastrous times for the Church worldwide; most Christians had no Bibles in their own language, and with a lack of apostles and prophets to teach and maintain the foundational doctrines the Church was rocked to its very foundations, and the Church largely abandon its foundations and left them to fall into disrepair.

But God had not forgotten his own, and Christ fully intends to return for a bride, his Church, whom he will sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:25-26).

How does Christ sanctify and cleanse the Church his bride for the wedding day? By the washing of the water of the word, which are the teachings of Jesus Christ and the foundational doctrines of the Church. For this purpose it was not only necessary for the written word to be restored to the Church, it was also necessary for Christ to restore to the Church the apostles and prophets to repair, restore, relay and teach once again the foundational doctrines of the Church. Thus the age of the restoration began.

The Restoration began on the 31st October 1517 as the early reformers went about restoring the first two foundational doctrines mention by Paul.

1: The doctrine of repentance from dead works.

2: The doctrine of faith towards God.

However it was not until the early 20th century that a new wave of apostles and prophets of Jesus Christ began the work of restoring the next two foundational doctrines.

3: The doctrine of baptisms.

4: The doctrine of the laying on of hands.

A work of restoration that was not completed until the early 21st century.
The question remains, when will God appoint another new wave of apostles and prophets to restore the final two remaining foundational doctrines to the Church?

5: The doctrine of the resurrection of the dead.

6: The doctrine of eternal damnation.

I am of the opinion God has already called and appointed many to this task. These have all been going through times of trials and testing; many have given up, but for those who endure God will soon open the doors of effective ministry to the Church, and the work of restoring the foundations will continue. So that when Jesus Christ returns he shall return for a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

The Lord Jesus Christ says to his bride, the Church at this time.

Soon and very soon, the Holy Spirit will move mightily upon the Church worldwide, amongst all denominations. This move of the Holy Spirit upon the Church will be marked by;

1: Great repentance from dead works.

As a wave of repentance falls, not only upon lukewarm Christians, but also millions upon millions of sinners whom God will call out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of his Son.

2: Great faith towards God.

As millions upon millions of sinners repent and turn toward Jesus Christ, God in the flesh come to earth to die on the cross for the deliverance of all who by faith believe in the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16).

3: Many baptisms.

As millions upon millions of repented sinners are baptised in water, into Christ, into the Holy Spirit and fire.

4: The laying on of hands.

As millions upon millions Christians from the least to the greatest are filled with the power of God, they will go out into the world preaching the gospel, healing the sick and raising the dead in the name of Jesus Christ.

And while all this is going on two main focal points of the apostles and prophets teaching and preaching will be

5: The doctrine of the resurrection of the dead.

For in these last days Jesus Christ is calling his bride to be ready for the coming of the bridegroom and the resurrection of the dead.

6: The doctrine of eternal damnation.

For the world is about to be cast into eternal damnation. Therefore the people of the world need to choose quickly. Will they accept justification through the blood of Jesus Christ, and therefore be judged not guilty. Or will they reject Jesus as their Lord and Deliverer and be judged guilty and thrown into the lake of fire, where they will suffer for all eternity.

The Lord says; I have already called and appointed apostles and prophets for the task of restoring the foundations, but will they rise up in the name of Jesus Christ, stand against the powers of darkness?  Apostles and prophets, God has faith in you, God believes in you, God has no plan B.
