To Pastor

*

In my last e-mail to you, I e-mailed you our booklet “God’s Vision. Our calling.”  In which I finished by saying,

The love of God toward us, draws us towards God. To receive and believe in the love God brings us into unity with God and the love of God flowing through us leads us into unity by loving one another.

“These are currently days in which God is training me and preparing me for the task that lies ahead.

In the meantime those who pick up on the truths God is restoring to his Church through me and other prophets and apostles are largely on their own until God by his Spirit pulls us together in unity.

In order to obtain unity, we cannot compromise on Truth. The task is large, but if we all do our little part, the body of Christ will connect.

RECEIVING & BELIEVING.

To which you replied,

“So, what is truth to obtain unity?”

Having spent some time since seeking God’s understanding and wisdom to answer this question. I have come to see that it is not so much through one truth revealed that we obtain unity, but rather that by receiving and believing a number of truths we obtain unity.

Truth to obtain and maintain unity, can be likened to a diamond being viewed from many different angles.

From the moment we are born again we are in unity with Christ and with the Church, the body of Christ. For no other reason than we have been born as a child into the family of God.

We were born again, when we with childlike faith first received and believed.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, (as Christ our Lord and deliverer) to them he gave the authority (or the right) to become the children of God, to them that believe in his name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

When a child of flesh is born into this earthly world, he is born in unity with his natural family. Then over time the child, under the guidance and direction of his father, mother and teachers, he grows into the fullness of family unity and unity with society. Then when the child is of age he is declared an adult and obtains the fullness of unity.

As it is in the natural so it spiritual.

When we come to Jesus Christ, God the Son, we must come with childlike faith, receiving and believing and him as our Lord and Deliverer. Then we will receive the right to become a child of God.

Everything we receive in the kingdom of God is received by receiving with childlike faith, then believing. The world wants to see, know and understand before they will believe, but God tells us to first receive with childlike faith, then you will believe.

God first loved us; we received his love; then believed.

Matthew 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom above? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, truly I say unto you, except you turn, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom above. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom above.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, truly, truly, I say unto you, except a man be born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus said unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said to you, you must be born again. 8 The Spirit breathes where it wills, and you hear his voice, but cannot tell from where he comes, and where he goes: so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

As we receive and believe, we receive even more faith to receive and believe the knowledge and understanding of the truths of the kingdom of God and the more by faith we receive and believe in the blessings of the kingdom.

Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For rule must be upon rule, rule upon rule; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

As long as we continue in faith receiving and believing more truths, we will continue to grow in faith, truth and unity. But the moment we cease from receiving and believing the truth, division comes.

Example 1: Some receive and believe in the truth of baptism, some do not. Thus we have division.

Example 2: Some of us accept the calling of prophets and apostles in this age, some do not. Thus we have division.

We could go on. What truth or truths do you or your church refuse to receive and believe in, causing division?

We could say that the truth to obtain unity is to be born again, but that is only the start of the journey towards the fullness of unity with Christ and each other.

BAPTISM INTO CHRIST.

With the early Church, soon after one first received and believed in Jesus Christ, he had to choose whether to receive and believe the baptism into Christ, along with all the benefits that went along with their baptism by immersion in water.

Acts 2:36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the deliverance from sin; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is unto you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

You shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).

We are promised many things at our baptism, but for now we will only look at one of these promises and one little facet of this promise. The receiving of the Spirit of Truth, which is one facet of receiving the promised gift of the Holy Spirit.

John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Intercessor, that he may dwell with you forever; 17 the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither does it know him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphaned: I will come to you.

John 16:12 I have still many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now.  13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall speak it unto you. 15 All things that the Father has are mine, therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall speak it unto you.

Do you know the truth? Do you what to be guided into all truth? The journey which started with receiving and believing, continues with our baptism into Christ, the receiving of Holy Spirit / The Spirit of Truth, the anointing of the Holy Spirit with all power and authority as sons of God.

So we like Jesus Christ can boldly declare;

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovery of sight to the blind, to send away ones having been oppressed with deliverance, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

EAVOURING TO KEEP THE UNITY

OF THE SPIRIT IN THE BOND OF PEACE.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, plead with you that you walk worthy of the call to which you are called, 2 With all humility of mind and gentleness, with long suffering, patiently putting up with one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 For there is one body, We, the body of Christ; and one Holy Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling (Ephesian 2:12); Our hope our calling is to be delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:13).               (Words in italics added.)

We who are born again are one with Christ, one with the Holy Spirit, one with God the Father (Ephesians 4:6) and we are each members of the body of Christ. If our hand or foot is hurt and causing us grief, we just don’t chop it off and throw it away. We are gentle and long suffering with our hand or foot, patiently putting up with it in love for our body. We are all one in the body of Christ, so let us endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

To endeavour, is diligently to labour for and study for. We are to love our brothers and sisters in the Lord, but this love is something we need to diligently labour for and study for, thus keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. It is our Love for each other that binds us together, while hate drives us apart.

GOD IS LOVE AND LOVE IS OF GOD.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever has faith in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you; that also you should love one another. 35 by this all men will know you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

God is love.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows and understands God. 8 He that does not love; neither knows nor understands God; for God is love.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation produces patience; 4 and patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 and hope does not make us ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.

The love of God is shed abroad throughout we, the body of Christ, by the Holy Spirit into the hearts of every born again believer.

When do we receive the promised gift of the Holy Spirit? At our baptism (Acts 2:38).

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

THE APOSTLES & PROPHETS.

Ephesians 4:8 Therefore He said, when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9 (Now that He ascended, what does it mean but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same person also that ascended up far above the whole sky, that he might fill all things.)

11 And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

14 That we be no more like children, being tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery and cunning craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;  15 But speaking the truth in love, we should in all things grow up into Christ, whom is the head. 16 From whom the whole body is closely joined, fitted and compacted together by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the building of itself in love.

Matthew 13:9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 10 Then the disciples came, and said unto him, why do you speak unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom above, but unto them it is not given. 12 For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables: because seeing they see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

To those who are not born again, the mysteries of the kingdom are a mystery. However, for those who have been of born of God into the kingdom of God, the knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom will be given.

From the time we are born again we are part of the body Christ. Also from the time we are born again, in our born again experience we continue to grow and dwell in unity, both with Christ and the body of Christ, we also continue to increase in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Let us look at Psalm 133. This is a parable type picture of the Church, which is the body of Christ that dwells together in unity under Christ the head of the Church. From the Head anointing of the Holy Spirit and the power and authority of God flow down over the whole body, while the dew of Hermon is a type picture of the Spirit of God / the pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb (Rev 22:1). The waters of life that flow through us and out from out our belly bringing life to a broken and hurting world (John 7:38 & Joel 3:18).

Psalm 133:1 Look and see, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that descended down to the skirts of his garments; 3 as the dew of Hermon that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, life for evermore.

Unity of the Church / the body of Christ, under Christ the Head of the Church; the anointing of the Holy Spirit; the Waters of Life. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, the fullness of the Holy Trinity we all walk together in unity. You may not understand it all, but the understanding will come as you receive and believe.

Achieving the truth by obtaining and maintaining unity is an ongoing process.

Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom above, but unto them it is not given. 12 For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance:

Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For rule must be upon rule, rule upon rule; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Some Christians having first received and believed in Jesus Christ, never receive and believe some the other important Spiritual Truths. Therefore they remain as babes and they will never have the full knowledge truth, nor understand doctrine, nor receive the power and authority as sons of God.

Ephesians 4:11 And He Jesus Christ gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

The five fold ministry, including the Apostles and Prophets, is given to us, to work with us till we come to the unity of the faith.

Many Christians and Christian churches believe the Gifts of the Apostle, the Prophet and the anointing of the Holy Spirit with all power and authority, upon the Church the body of Christ, all past away with the passing away of the first Apostles and Prophets. In doing so they reject those who have been called by God and given by Christ to the Church to bring us all to the unity of the faith.

THE GREAT COMMISSION.

Jesus Christ set an example for us to follow.

Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37 That word, I say, you know, which was declared throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

It was as Jesus Christ rose from the waters of baptism that God the Father declared Jesus to be the Son of God. Then anointed with the Holy Spirit and filled with the power and authority of God, he went out preaching the good news.  It is at our baptism into Christ that we are declared the sons of God (Galatians 3:25 – 27); anointed with the Holy Spirit and filled with the power and authority of God, and sent out to preach the good news.

Acts 1:4 And the Apostles, being assembled together with him, He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you have of heard from me (John 14:16, 14:26, 15:26 & 16:7-13) 5 For truly John baptized with water; but in not many days, you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. - - - - - - - - 8 But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

This baptism with the Holy Spirit is not just for the Apostles but all who receive and believe.

Acts 2:36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the deliverance from sin; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is unto you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me, in the sky and on earth. 19 Therefore, go you and disciple people of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, look and see, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the good news to all creation. 16 He that has faith to believe and is baptized shall be delivered; but he that believes not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that have faith; in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up snakes; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into the sky, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

God anointed Jesus Christ (the Son of God) with the Holy Spirit and power and Jesus did great and mighty works, for God was with him (Acts 2:38).

When the early Church (the sons of God) carried out The Great Commission they did great and mighty works, for the Lord worked with them.

And God expects us to also do great and mighty works.

John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say unto you, he that believes in me, the works that I do, he shall also do; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Galatians 3:26 For you are all the sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature (mankind), waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

We all have been called and predestined to be called the sons of God. The sons of God that God is revealing and compelling to go into the world and preach the Good News to all creation.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

“So, what is truth to obtain and maintain unity?” You could say it is always growing in the knowledge of truth, or receiving and believing that truth that God is currently revealing to you, or you say it is receiving and believing the Love of God and loving one another as Christ loves the Church. For without love of God there is no unity. The love of God toward us, draws us towards God. To receive and believe in the love God brings us into unity with God and the love of God flowing through us leads us / the Church, into unity by loving one another.

God’s favour and blessings be continually be poured out upon you and all you watch over in the name of Jesus Christ, as you all continue to grow in unity and the power, knowledge and wisdom of God.

With the love of God from Your Brother in Christ,
Prophet Ken Clark.
