GOD CREATED THE SKY

AND THE EARTH IN SEVEN DAYS.

Many scientists find it very hard to believe that God created the sky and the earth in seven days, while other scientists wonder how these learned men cannot see the truth of God’s creation, when evidence for creation is clearly visible for all to see.  The truth is that most of these scientists who (do not believe that God created the earth and the sky in seven days) do not believe the truth because they do not love the truth, nor do they want to believe the truth.  Therefore they close their eyes to the truth.

Fallen mankind lives in rebellion against God.  God created mankind to live their lives according to God’s will, but ever since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, fallen mankind has lived in rebellion against God.  The greatest sin of fallen mankind in this world today, is that of wanting to live our lives according to our own will and not according to God’s will.

Because we want to live our lives according to our own will and not God’s, men live in rebellion against God’s laws, the laws of the land and those in authority over them; Women live in rebellion against God and their husbands; Children live in rebellion against their parents, school teachers and the police.  The people of the world are crying out for independence, when they should be crying out to God for mercy and forgiveness.

God’s word likens Himself to a potter, and mankind to clay pots.

Isaiah 64: 8 But now, O Lord, You are our father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; And we are the work of Your hand.

Does not the potter own the clay, and does not the potter have the right to make whatever type of vessel he wills out of the clay.  Can the clay say I don’t want to be that type of vessel; I want to be this type of vessel.  I want to be this type of vessel. Of cause not!  The clay can only become what the potter molds him to be.  And if the vessel is flawed, does not the potter have the right to break it down and start again.

For those who accept that God created mankind to “declare His glory among the nations,” to live our lives according to His will, knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love God. It is a joy for us to say, “God make me and mold me into a vessel fit for your service, and use me to declare your glory.” (Psalm 96:3; Luke 22:42; & Romans 8:28)

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the sky and the earth.

What is the sky that was created along with the earth in the beginning.  Verses 1-6 make it clear, that the sky God created along with the earth, is the firmament that divided the waters that were on the face of the earth, from the waters that were above the earth. In other words, the sky in which the birds now fly and the rain clouds now float is the heaven that God created along with the earth in the beginning.

Most new versions however have changed this verse to read; “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”  Why have we changed our Bibles to read the heavens instead of the heaven?  Because both evolutionists and many Christians do not believe that God created the earth before He created the heavens.

So in the beginning God created the sky and the earth. But when did God create the sun, the moon and stars? Genesis 1:14-19 makes it very clear that God never created the sun, the moon or the stars until the fourth day of creation.  So the earth was created three days before the sun, the moon and the stars that we see in the sky.  Before the fourth day of creation, there was nothing out there that could be seen. Even if you were to send a spacecraft millions of light years beyond where we now see the most distant star, there still wouldn’t of been anything to see.

The ancients believed in three skies (heavens), three realm that all merge together.  The first sky being the realm of the birds of the air, the second being the realm of Sun, the moon and the stars, and the third being the realm of the demons, angels and God.

THE EARTH WAS WITHOUT FORM AND VOID.

Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and void;

Evolutionists would like us to change this to, “The earth became without form and void.”   It is not only the evolutionists that would like to change this verse. There are many Christians (and I was once one of them) who believe God created the sky and the earth millions of years ago, and that some time latter the earth became without form and void.  Then much later God restored the earth in seven days.  But given that the sun, the moon and the stars were not created until the fourth day, this cannot be so.

What does it mean, the earth was without form and void?  To understand this it would help us to first look at God’s creation of man.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God gathered into His hand a hand full of dust.  That hand full of dust was without form and void of life.  Would God ever create anything that was without form and void?  Yes He would, a hand full of dust.  But then God shaped that hand full of dust into a man, breathed the breath of life into that dust and man became a living soul.

In much the same way God took a hand full of things that cannot be seen, a hand full of unseen things without any form and totally void of any life forms and God called this blob of unseen things the earth. But then God began to form it and breathed life upon it, so that the earth was no longer without form and void of life.

WHEN DID GOD CREATE THE ANGELS?

Two questions that often arise are; when did God create the angels? And when did Satan fall?  In trying to answer these questions, I first had to admit the scriptures are more than a bit vague on this subject, or is it just that we don’t fully understand the Scriptures.  When I am faced with either of these two questions, I often ask myself; does it really matter?  The answer is yes it does matter; it matters because the understanding of many Christians on this subject cuts right across the Bibles account of creation.

Therefore even though my attempt to answer these questions may rest I on what many may call vague scriptures and interpretations, I must to the best of my ability try to answer these two questions, leaving it to the Holy Spirit to give further enlightenment.

It is evening of the sixth day and God is looking out over His creation of the three skies and the earth.

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he made, and looked and saw it was good.  And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the sky and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Psalm 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the sky was made; and all the host of them.

Nehemiah 9:6 You, even you, are Lord alone; you have made the sky, the sky of skies, with all their host, the earth and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and you preserve them all; and the host of the sky worshiped you.

It is the Hebrew word tsaba  (meaning host or warfare, and often used to describe a large army and also often used when calling God the Lord of host), which is translated in these verses above as host.  Some people say that the host in these verses is referring to the stars.  But if this were so, both Mosses and Nehemiah would have used the Hebrew word kokab, as used by Moses in Genesis 1:16 and Nehemiah in Nehemiah 4:21.  In fact, the only Hebrew word translated into the King James as stars, is kokab.

In some versions, in verses that refer to pagans worshipping the sun, the moon and the stars, the word tsaba (host) is translated as stars.  But do pagans worship the stars? Or do they worship the host of demonic beings the pagans associated with the stars? If the writers of these Old Testament verses wanted us to understand that the pagans worshiped the stars and not the demonic host, they would of used the word kokab (meaning stars) instead of the word tsaba (meaning host).

Based on these passages all the angels (including Satan) were created sometime during the first six days of creation.  Then God looked out over His creation (including the angels) and saw that all of creation was good. (Genesis 1:31 – 2:1)

SATAN WAS IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

Before the fall of Satan, and before the fall of mankind, Satan was in The Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

When did God create The Garden of Eden?  According to Genesis 2:8 The Garden of Eden was created on the sixth day.  Take note; the Garden of Eden was created on the sixth day.

In Ezekiel chapter 28 we read about the king of Tyre, which many Bible scholars believe is a prophetic look at the life of Satan, especially verses 11-15.

Just some points of Satan’s life to ponder on.

In verse 12, we read that Satan was “the seal of perfection.” (N.K.J.V.)

In verse 13 we have Satan in The Garden of Eden clothed in precious stones, with timbrels and pipes that were prepare for Satan on the day he was created.

In verse 14 Satan is called the anointed cherub who covers.

In verse 15 we are told that from creation till sin was found in him, Satan was perfect.

Ezekiel 28:15 You (Satan) were perfect in your ways from the day you were created.  Till iniquity was found in you. (N.K.J.V.)

Even if you cannot believe that God created the sky and the earth in seven days, and even if cannot believe that all the angels (including Satan) were all created during those first six days of creation.  The Bible still tells us that Satan was in the Garden of Eden, and up to that time Satan was still the seal of perfection and still perfect in all his ways.  Therefore there cannot have been any rebellion of Satan before God had completed the six days of creation.  For at the end of the six-day God looked over of creation (including the host of the sky and the earth) and said that it was good.

The Holy Bible is clear on these two points:

1: None of the angels (including Satan) were created before the seven days of creation.

2:  At the end of the sixth day of creation, Satan and all the angels were perfect and there was no iniquity to be found in Satan.

When did God create Satan?  Answer: some time during the six days of creation.

When did iniquity enter Satan?  Answer: some time after the sixth day and before he tempted Eve.  This could have been anytime during the first 100 years after the creation of the sky and the earth.

I pray that this little book will help you believe that God created the sky and the earth in seven days that you may believe and understand, mankind was no accident that just happen or evolved, mankind was created by God, in the image of God to “declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.” (Psalm 96:3)
